This bust of Cristiano Ronaldo is offensively ugly
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the sexiest men in the world. As such, he should be honored with an equally beautiful replica, right?
Apparently someone didn’t get the memo. Today, Ronaldo was honored with an airport in his hometown of Madeira, Portugal named after the world renowned soccer player. In addition, a bust of Ronaldo was sculpted to capture his beauty, only it did the exact opposite.
For a very handsome man, Ronaldo has had some appalling luck with statue-makers pic.twitter.com/M74YEDng4c

Naturally, twitter had a field day.
I believe there's been a huge mistake made on the new bust of Cristiano Ronaldo at the Madrid Airport: pic.twitter.com/h9Hu5PiM90

Cristiano took it all in stride, however, and graciously accepted the honor (and the bust).
“Thank you for being here in my honor. Seeing my name being given to this airport is something very special,” he said. “Everyone knows that I am proud of my country and especially my home city,” he told the crowd. “I will try to dignify Portugal, and especially Madeira, with a spirit of sacrifice, dignity and passion.”
We’re just confused over this bust. Seriously, you have all of this to work with:
And yet, you get THIS:
We hope somebody lost their job for this offensive crime.
